Kappa Sigma

The Kappa Sigma fellowship began over 600 years ago when a group of students at the University of Bologna came together to form a mutual protection. Centuries later, in the Fall of 2013, a group of strangers at the University of Rhode Island came together to form the Tau-Eta chapter of Kappa Sigma. Since being chartered in 2014, Tau-Eta has raised thousands of dollars for charity, has been recognized as the "Most Improved Fraternity" by the InterFraternal Council at the 2016 Greek Awards, and has initiated over 75 members, becoming one of the largest fraternitys on campus at the University of Rhode Island.
